We created SHIFT89 so that manual know-how is no longer lost: the know-how of experts who leave, the know-how that must be passed on to young people, the know-how that keeps equipment running.

Our story

The tool we dreamed of having when we were in industry.

SHIFT89 was founded in 2020 in Montmorency, Val-d’Oise, by three industry and digital experts: Emmanuel Bricard, Philippe Laforge and Traian Lavric.

In industry, every second counts, and every unnecessary click is time lost. Yesterday, we defended our French factories; today, we give them a tool that respects their time and the reality of the shop floor.

Our mission: to preserve and pass on critical manual know-how. Train more people, and better; protect know-how from departures and staff turnover; make manual trades facing shortages more attractive.
