Microsoft HoloLens 2
Standalone augmented-reality headset
Your headsets remain in use, with no Microsoft subscription. HoloLens 2 is no longer manufactured; Microsoft publishes its security updates until December 2027 for connected devices12.
At SHIFT89, we support HoloLens 2 until at least the end of 2030, so you can use your investment for longer. #AugmentedTraining needs no connection to work: your HoloLens 2 headsets can therefore be disconnected from Wi-Fi, for maximum security. Your tutorials can be used immediately on the other hardware we offer.

Do you need to buy new equipment?
Not necessarily. Your HoloLens 2 headsets stay in use; we advise you to add to your fleet only where another device brings real added value.
Headset or glasses?
It depends on the workstation: duration of use, protective equipment, environment, need for autonomy. We start from your field conditions, not from the latest fashionable device.
Does a tutorial have to be remade for each device?
No: the same tutorial can be followed on each of the compatible devices.
